Free Chapter Membership In February!

When a new member joins PRSA National during February and uses promotion code FEB12, they will receive a free one-year membership to the PRSA Chapter of their choice. PRSA National covers the cost of the first-year Chapter dues! 

This free Chapter offer is open to new members and reinstating members who have been inactive for at least one year and rejoin as regular members. (Associate and renewing members are not eligible).

Also, during all National promotion months, we will be offering new Associate Members joining with less than two years of public relations experience a free one-year membership in the New Professionals Section.  Be sure to enter promotion code AM12 with payment and select New Professionals Section to receive this special offer. Offer applies to PRSSA Graduates as well.

 

National membership options are based on your experience in the profession:


Do you have two or more years’ experience in public relations? Join as a Member.  $255 annual dues; a $65 initiation fee may apply.

Do you have one to two years' experience in public relations?  Join as an Associate Member.  $155 annual dues.

Do you have less than one years’ experience in public relations?  Join as an Associate Member.  $115 annual dues.

Were you a PRSSA member? And did you graduate within the past two years?  Join as an  Associate Member, PRSSA Graduate.  $60 annual dues.

Are you a full-time graduate student working toward a public relations degree?  Join as an  Associate Member, Graduate Student.  $60 annual dues. 

Are you part of an organization that has eight or more individuals interested in joining?  A group membership offers special benefits and discounted rates on first year dues.  Contact groupmembership@prsa.org for more information.

Are you retired?  Members who have been in good standing for at least five years may qualify for retirement status.  You must be employed less than 50 percent of the time.  Contact membership@prsa.org for more information. Certain restrictions may apply.  $50 annual dues.  


LOCAL CHAPTER DUES have been established by the Board of Directors as follows:

MEMBERS: $60

Individuals who devote at least 50% of their time to the paid professional practice of public relations or associated functions, in concurrence with national membership requirements.

RETIREE MEMBERS: $30

Individuals retired from full-time employment in the public relations industry who have been PRSA members in good standing for five or more consecutive years.
